The service

HeyGeeks provides developer portfolios and blogs on *.heygeeks.in subdomains, plus community features like the feed and developer directory. By creating an account you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use HeyGeeks.

Your handle

  • Handles are first come, first served — but squatting handles to resell them, or impersonating a person, project or company, isn't allowed and can result in the handle being reclaimed.
  • Reserved names (like www, api, or trademark conflicts) may be unavailable or reclaimed with notice.
  • Accounts inactive for over 24 months may have handles recycled after email warning.

Your content

  • You own what you create.You grant us a license to host, cache and display your content — that's the minimum needed to serve your site and show your posts in the feed, nothing more.
  • You're responsible for what you publish. Don't post content you don't have rights to.
  • Not allowed: malware or phishing, spam or SEO farms, harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, doxxing, or anything illegal. We remove such content and may suspend the account.

Free and Pro

The free plan is free forever. Pro is billed monthly, can be cancelled any time from the dashboard, and stays active until the end of the paid period. If we can't collect payment, your account downgrades to free — nothing is deleted, but Pro features (like custom domains) stop working.

Availability and changes

We aim for boring, reliable uptime but the service is provided "as is" without warranties. We may change or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the service entirely, we'll give at least 90 days' notice and a way to export your content.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeyGeeks is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms — where reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your content.

Governing law

HeyGeeks is operated from India. These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.

Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, complaints about content on the platform or these terms can be sent to our Grievance Officer at mohit@heygeeks.in. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
